Pakistan hopes to send two million workers in next 2 years abroad: Manpower Export





 Pakistan sent over 1.2 million workers overseas during the last three years not withstanding
the COVID-19 pandemic, claims Fawad Chaudire

ISLAMABAD: Minister for Information and Dissemination Fawad Chaudhry on Thursday demanded that Pakistan send over 1.2 million workers to different countries for various job projects during the last three years notwithstanding the COVID-19 pandemic.


Sharing the data on his Twitter account, the minister spoke the confidence that more than 2 million Pakistanis will proceed abroad for engagement in the next two years.

As each the stats, Saudi Arabia is the largest receiver of Pakistani workers as 56,9780 people touched the empire during the last three years for various jobs, shadowed by UAE with 27,1875 Pakistani émigrés.


During the three-year period, 61,432 Pakistanis were sent to 2,464 to the UK, 53,692 to Qatar, 1,943 to China, and 1,157 to the US.



In total, Pakistan sent 1,027,640 workers overseas in the last two years.


Pakistan beat the India, and Bangladesh in manpower export in 2020.
